That one's not an option. I have nothing set at the moment. Capacitance is non-adjustable.

Are you sure the "47" you listed in your original post isn't actually 47K (or 47,000). That is such a longtime standard for moving magnet cartridges that it's hard to imagine a preamp that doesn't have it (unless it's exclusively a preamp for moving-coil cartridges).
It doesn't make that much difference.
Any idea what the input capacitance of your phono input is?

No, I have no specs on the phono stage. It came with no instructions or feature descriptions, not even on the packaging box. The stage is dead quiet, so I'm thankful for that.

Those loading choices would make sense if they were for moving coils cartridges only. Probably when the switch is in the MM position both channels see a fixed loading that I assume would be 47,000 ohms or 47K
Yes, in the MM position it is fixed at 47K ohms as one would expect. The load options are only for when the switch is set for moving coil cartridges.
