He's available on-line at Fidelis Analog. With all due respect to Scott Frankland, I don't know why he would have special expertise with an SP10 Mk2. JP Jones does.
Follow Ups:
Lew, didn't you have Bill Thalmann go through yours?
I've heard he is top notch, but maybe more expensive.

Bill was stumped by my Victor TT101, as were two other shops. JP Jones found and fixed the problem. (One of the PCBs had developed a crack that was hidden under a gob of factory solder and therefore invisible. The flexing of the crack caused an intermittent problem that wouldn't show itself when Bill had the TT.) JP also has a penchant for Technics. He built a replica of the chip that is needed to run the Mk3 out of discrete parts, and his replacement PCB actually slightly improves operation, maybe not by much but measures better. I don't know about cost relative to other shops. I would guess that JP is a bit more expensive on a per hour basis, compared to Music Technology (Bill Thalmann). Bill, of course, will fix anything audio-related, not just TTs.
although I don't see a physical address. I am working on getting another table up and running, before I send off anything.
thanks for the reply, P
