"Once this was all Black Plasma and Imagination" -Michael McClure
I have album Love by the Cult on Sire Records (1985). Had to buy it at the time after hearing the song Sanctuary on FM.
BTW - I had my stereo system packed away and just reconnected all. Needed to check my owners manual to see that I had my speaker wires right - its a three piece set with L/R mini bookshelf plus sub thats wired to both channels. My manual encourages experimenting with placement. Call me radical, but I put the two bookshelf speakers now on a long wall at the right side. The left channel speaker is 19 feet away and in a corner and the right spkr is nearer at 12 feet on a mantle. Sound balance L/R seems fine. My old set up with one speaker more or less free standing in middle of room had a thinner sound, I think. Anybody tried similar?
You might be interested in this earlier effort, "God's Zoo", when they were Death Cult. As a 12" single, it sounds killer!

And before that they were Southern Death Cult.
Some fine 12"ers!
Oh yeah! I forgot. The "Moya" 12" is also excellent! Don't really know any other material from them under this name. Perhaps time to investigate!

The Cult and Tubby the tuba together!
going to play it after my bike ride this morning. Bouncing around in the box (zero filler padding), but didn't do any damage. Glad to see you spinning.
