he had one of the 2 highest recorded voices. the other? caruso.. not bad oompany. of course that means squatto if the singer can not get into a song. happily, that was problem orbison never had. i would love to hear one of his bad renditions (if such a thing exists). in the travelling wilburys, it was to fun to hear his alost casual 'noodling' . but still much better than almost everyones else's best. yup, get all you can find.

Funnily enough, my mother was an opera singer, and she had a 4-octave range, but of course..... she was a girl.
I've nearly injured myself several times trying to sing "Crying" in Roy's key. I have to take it down an octave.
