I like Thorens turntables and had the TD150 and TD125 back in the 70s. After 20 years away from audio while doing mission work, I'm using the TD203 for 3 years. Here's the latest: TD1500 and TD403DD
These new offering from Thorens really look nice but pricey for me, but someone here may find them as interesting as I do. The TD1500 looks great and the more modest of the two really looks like a good unit.https://www.monoandstereo.com/2021/09/new-thorens-td-403-dd-and-td-1500.html

Great to see quality turntables picking up on the Thorens heritage for another generations use.
That heritage of course goes all the way back to mechanical music boxes.
It's nice to see Thorens putting out new state-of-the- art decks. I currently use a TD321 with Sumiko MMT tonearm and it has truly been a workhorse in my system with accurate timing and playback. I currently don't need to make a change but is I did one of these looks great.

I likewise like the new direction of Thorens products. The TD1601 looks particularly good too.
TD150 was ~150$ in 1970 (With Shure Cart) What I paid It's still working as well as it did Brand new :-)
That translates into ~ 1100 $ in 2021.
While their Advertised 2000 Gbps price = 2750 U$ !
Clearly..Thorens isn't doing this retro revival out of the goodness of their heart.
There's more to it than the pricing conversion. The cost of materials and labor, updated and refined design and new tonearm, plus the current economic climate factor into the new cost. It seems like a very good turntable for the money to me and I'd proudly play vinyl on it.
Glad to see turntable manufacturers bringing back their Classic models. Seems like many are jumping into the revival of Classic models.
