Being a klutz, I keep destroying the stylus on my ADC XLM II. It is in a low mass Magnepan Utratrac in my 'B' system.
Thinking about all the abuse DJs give their styli. Is there anything rugged but decent sounding of highish compliance I might want?

Any plastic body Grado will work fine with that arm!
Didn't know Frank or Joe made a stylus. I supplied a link to Hardy Stylus on facebook. Gotta run the portal is closing.
Hope it helps,

I went through a number of Blue Point cartridges before I realized that they weren't meant to last!
Now, I feel that part of the expense for a new cartridge is that they are probably way more durable.
That's as best an answer I can give, whichever universe I'm in :-)
Not much of a choice.. if one has motor control issues.
I'm not aware of the ultratrac, maybe you mean unitrack. I still have one and it's very demanding of careful handling. So are high compliance carts. I still have a few but my favorite is the Grace f9. If you can find a body somewhere you can purchase a new stylus for the cart body from Sound-smith. Apparently they were so enamored with this MM that they decided to make replacement styli for it.
Good luck on the search.

Many DJs (including me back in the day) use/used the Shure SC35C. Very rugged but I think that the specs may not suit you ( VTF 4-5g, spherical stylus etc.).
I think it is a rule of thumb that the better a cartridge is the more carefully it needs to be installed and that there is a corollary in care of handling.
It depends how much sound quality you are prepared to give up as a trade off. The ADC XLM II was one of the finest very high compliance cartridges of its day.

? Shure M44G?
coming from the alternate universe that I inhabit. I'm quite sure it's not the answer you were looking for, however.
And I didn't know that Laurel's comedic partner was in the cartridge/styli business?
