I was organizing my cartridges and came across this one. It had a badge that was inserted into the holder on the front but it is long gone.
Follow Ups:
It is a late 70's-early 80's Grado that was intended for export. There are also ones that have a blue body (RS II) which I have. The current line of Prestige styli work in those. Providing they are not damaged...
Looks like a Grado that got blown up by an IED.........
SOLD!!
The best I can ascertain is it's maybe a G, or GT, but neither are compatible to each other. I think the G had 2 white dots to identify the styli, the GT, black? Both tan but can't tell if the metal body is silver or gold so that can mean if gold, it's top of the line for this series.
It can also be either of these, XF3+ or the GF3? All have tan bodies.
Not sure when it was manufactured, I think from the 80's? The body style is very close to the current crop of Prestige carts since I think 2000 in terms of its shape/look at minimum.
All this from searching Google images.
Agree with Ghostie, the cantilever is roached, and some of the rubber suspension may be detriorating too.
I did a look at Grado cartridge images on Google.Looks like a Mce+1. Maybe?

Not only is the stylus roached, but there's a big chunk of the housing missing from the front of the cart.
The problem is not that there is evil in the world, the problem is that there is good. Because otherwise, who would care?
It looks like one of their rare Special Edition 'Moving Rust' models.
Hey, Donnie. That sinking feeling in your gut is called karma. You are a horrible individual, and you will pay for that for the rest of your miserable life. Good riddance to bad rubbish.
Maybe I should post it on the bay then.
Don't forget to say that if it weren't for the broken cantilever and the teeny-tiny bit of rust, it would be in 'Mint' condition; although you are unable to test it and it is being sold as-is, but it probably works fine. LOL

Fremer ought to do a review on this revolutionary cantilever.
If I buy some advertising in Stereophile do you think it'll get a good review?
