What else? It's Groundhog Day!
The problem is not that there is evil in the world, the problem is that there is good. Because otherwise, who would care?
Follow Ups:
Hendrix plays bass here for Johnny during a jam session. Enough said about his status back then.
"The torture never stops"Greetings Freek.
I have an original Columbia pressing from 1969 and the Friday Music reissue that used the original master tapes. Johnny Winter produced the recording. Willie Dixon and Walter "Shakey" Horton sat in on Mean Mistreater. A great album, maybe my favorite Johnny Winter release. An album promoted very heavily by Columbia at the time of its release.
Surprisingly cheap from a seller I trust.

Is that Progressive Blues Experiment? Love that album. Think I bought it in 9th grade. Read who all the songwriters were and started learning about the blues. Still play the album. He was a monster to see live.
His debut for Columbia. He recorded Progressive Blues Experiment first but it was released later.
The mix is pretty good, which is not something you can say about all of his records.

According to AMG Johnny Winter, The Progressive Blues Experiment and Second Winter all came out in 1969.
Not sure which one was first - probably not Second Winter.
Nice choice.

But it's certainly one of his best live album that I've heard.
