I am working on a Rek o kut B12 GH turntable. My question relates to the picture attached to this post. Is the top level of the motor spindle the designated location for the idler wheel to contact for 33rpm? I ask because mine won't raise to that level using the speed adjuster. It plays at 45rpm, the level below, when set to 33.

Follow Ups:
Remove the circlip and turn the idler wheel over, it will hit the top of the shaft, where 33rpm is.

Bingo! Thank you. This is my first idler...it was given away to my neighbor who promptly gave it to me. I've been living, speed adjusting and missing the obvious for a week!

I am not sure if you will be able to adjust to 45 rpm after you turn the idler wheel around, but it should at least work in 33 rpm. I have 3 L34 Rondine Rek-O-Kuts. They are really pretty good sounding idler drives.

You might look at Lenco Heaven....there are real idler experts there.
