it always! gives me goosebumps when I listen to anything Annie. I'm spinning it before I fire up the chain saw and finish cutting up the tree that the last storm destroyed. And then ashes will burn this winter with the newest supply for the stove.

Follow Ups:
I don't think Renaissance ever got the credit they deserved--some wonderful music!
...in a small local venue.
Annie was wonderful. She still has amazing range.
I had such a crush on her when I was in college.
Dean.
reelsmith's axiom: Its going to be used equipment when I sell it, so it may as well be used equipment when I buy it.
At FAU in 1975, my girlfriend was on the entertainment committee when they were booked. She got me on the stage crew (a paying job). At the sound check, Annie needed a help up to the stage and I gave her a boost.
Dreams!

My daughter likes to sing so I was playing her some Renaissance recently.
Now there's a band I would buy the complete albums remastered if reissued as a box set.
you now have at least 2 requests for a boxed set of the Renaissance catalogue complete with pics, lots of pics.

do you like Andy Powell's solo and other works?
he's effective with Renaissance yet I found it an odd match for a fellow known for 'trance' music to emerge there
regards,
I've never heard his music that I can remember.

he's the guitarist on that cut, and you probably have without realizing it
look him up, he's kind of a 'trance' specialist, very interesting
best regards,
Actually, Powell just does the electric solo. The acoustic work is Dunford.
Any Powell was part of Wishbone Ash. They reciprocated the guest spot by asking John Tout (keyboards) to play organ on one of their albums - think it was Argus.
you are correct sir!
one recording / live tape project I've been trying to get my hands on is Night Of The Guitar where he appears with Randy California [Spirit] Jan Akkerman [Focus] Steve Howe [Yes] Steve Hunter [Mitch Rider, Alice Cooper, Lou Reed, others] Robby Krieger [Doors] Leslie West [Mountain] and Alvin Lee [10 Years After ... who cuts heads on the others!]
I've only ever seen it on VHS ... but still looking
with regards,
Great album. Saw them live too many years ago to remember.
