I haven't listened to the Manticore in decades, but my Italian copy is a Korean pressing and is very good. Better sound than the Manticore, and the mix is different/better; instruments are cleaner and easier to hear. The extra intro is just icing on the cake. I did a duck-duck-go search for "Appena un Poco", and it's the first (YT) video that comes up. Use a good pair of earphones. The Italian album is called "Per un amico", and there are a few sealed ones on Discogs.

thanks
you wouldn't happen to have any family from the Chicago area would you?
Ott is a rather singular name and I knew some long ago
with regards,
Not that I know of. My father's sister married a (Greek) Chicagoan who had a pretty popular restaurant there in the 50's/60's.
Now you're making me miss Greek Town in Chicago.
I had a friend who's family owned a place there called "It's Greek to Me" that was wonderful. Loved it when they would light cheese on fire and everyone who worked there would yell "OPA!" in unison.
Here in the New Mexico high desert, we have no Greek food and the only Mediterranean is also vegetarian.
that would do away with the surname though
so it must have been a different clan
thanks for your reply, much appreciated!
with regards,
