Schnabel thinks "..these knobs..if only I was Stokowski..."
Shurely Not Short-Term Memory-Loss!!!!!... you've got me worried ..I'm a strapping Bronzed Yoof nowadays...
Have to try-out the Frodo Kempff Chopin's:- had them (SDD's) for decades.
Did his mono Liszt PC's (LSO/Fistolari) turn-up stateside on Richmond - as the ACL got a superlative rating for SQ upon reissue.
What sort of EQ are you using for these ancient sounding-plates?

I have run across my share of Richmond vinyl, but alas, I've never discovered his Liszt PC. To make matters and even more outrageous, I do not have the equipment capable of fine tuning or changing in any way my EQ. I spin away in ignorance I suppose. My listening experience still moves me and satisfies.
Take Care, Tom B.
Amazingly, K.Long's convincing 1956 Haydn sonatas LP never made it to CD (LXT5144/LL1380):- scanned the sleeve a decade back - now can't find it - so here's one that you may not have (2012 scan)...Cortot's a bit crinkly - hair still dark though!
OK Frank, quit showing off. Isn't that Cortot's ONLY tape to vinyl release? I attempted to buy that issue about four times on E-bay, but without ever being successful :(
