I don't think my copy of Wagner's Ring is seven LPs.

The 3 LP set includes 10 songs from the Wildflower sessions that didn't make it onto the release.
The 7 LP set includes the 3 LP set plus a double disk consisting 14 live takes of Wildflower songs and another double disk consisting of 15 solo demo takes Petty recorded at home.
This is the kind of release I would buy on CD. But I don't have a Wildflower vinyl and I want one. Can't tell yet if this is the one I want.
Hell, I might even pop for it.
The seven-record set...no thanks.

16 extra tracks of alternative version.
The 4 CD set is $49.
that's how much I paid for the Tom Petty Vol. 2 box set.

I had a copy of "The Ring" once on Time-Life I think was either 10 or 12 LP. Didn't keep it long as Mahler is not really my thing.
It's Wagner, not Mahler. I was only exaggerating anyway.
But really--how many versions of "You Wreck Me" are they gonna put on a 7-LP set?

You know those Germans. They all look and sound alike!
