I wonder which is better, 160, 180 or 200 weight? Do certain labels have sharper edges? Do certain pressings lead to that something sublime in the taste of the cut food?

"Once this was all Black Plasma and Imagination" -Michael McClure
"Bass is the place..the rest is filigree and lace" Doug Sax
That's the one I had in mind.
I've read where it's estimated 30% of that release was on marbeled
vinyl but I think they got that wrong and the 30% was black vinyl.

I found this one years ago, but it was played to near death before me. So it sits in the frame on the wall. It was such a great album I bought the later 180gram release on MCA.

Or Dr. Duck's Super Secret All-Purpose Sauce , one of the two. If memory serves, it was the former. I've seen them both many times but it's been decades.
The album being used to dice and slice is Nesmith's Live at the Palais .

I know you're a Monkees fan, so keep your eye/ear out for Dolenz Sings Nesmith. Dolenz, I read somewhere, is in the process of selecting songs from Mike's entire career and will begin recording soon. Nesmith's son, Christian, is producing.Dolenz said he'd not likely cover Different Drum because he couldn't bring anything to it after Linda Ronstadt and others. Maybe not Mary, Mary either because it is a Nesmith song he's already done (with The Monkees).

I saw the Monkees live in 1997, and Nesmith wasn't with them. Mickey sang all of the Mike songs and did a pretty good job of it.

"Shut up, old man, and watch this!" LOL.
