At 52 I feel like I'm the kiddo here, although I have experience in the low end cheap offerings of the 70's. As a kid I could only use what the parents had around the house, including a maybe 14"x14" Sanyo radio/cassette/turntable complete with a pop-up tonearm(which required a nickel taped to the 'headshell'). My dad's Motorola turntable was the best of the bunch so I adopted it as a teen.

I want to be a youngster. :-) People say you are as old as you feel, but at 52 I don't feel 30, I feel 52! :-( I remember what 30 or even 40 felt like and it was great.
Well I'm 81 but with John Ellison's encouragement and a set of truly fine SME V instructions I got what sounds like pretty good results. I still have little confidence in myself.
I was going to encourage you to do it yourself :-). That arm is out of my price range, or should I say what I'm WILLING to spend. I bet it's awesome
