With springtime finally here in Wyoming, we're now into yard sale season. Here's some finds from the past three days, from a local thrift and two yard sales. The Disco-Funk-Soul LP's & Rossington Collins are still-sealed in shrink. Found at a farm at the end of a Wyoming dirt road. Who would've ever guessed? The first three, Gene Pitney, Ray Price and Lenny Welch were from the thrift, in shrink (which I removed) and in pristine condition.
Follow Ups:
Some good stuff in there! Records are becoming rare and expensive. You really have to negotiate. 5 euro per is becoming the minimum price for pop/rock records, even on the flea market. Only classical can still be had cheap. CD's are cheap, i found a lot for 0,50 each lately, Paul Simon, John Hiatt, John Lee Hooker, Joe Cocker.
I had one great find lately. Not on vinyl though. Bye Bye Love by the Everly Brothers. On 78 RPM!

....about how they ever got there. I guess their plans to open a disco next to the barn never came to fruition?
