Not yet but bought my tickets to the show several months ago (Tacoma,WA-June 24)
No, it's on the way though. Been to two shows already--excellent as always.
I have the dbl LP. One listen so far. Really looking for to playing it some more. Sounds very good, and the engineering is outstanding.
First time through, not super impressed. Certainly not on a level with "Amused to Death." Breaks no new ground - sounds like "The Finaler Cut Part II" - if anything, even more morose. Saying the melodies are elemental understates it - almost non-existent on many of the tracks - basic, not-very-memorable grooves with Waters ranting over them. His voice has deteriorated markedly. Lyrics are blunt and unartful; your tolerance will probably depend on whether you agree with him - he pretty much hits you over the head with his politics, with little attempt at poetic expression.Production is dark but clear, as would be expected. Usual studio frippery from his Floydian bag of tricks - sound effects
and snippets of voices moving in and out, acoustic guitars and vocals recorded up front, orchestral sweetening here and there, the occasional portentous piano chord with a long decay. Impeccably engineered. I'm listening to the cd - my local store had the disc for $11.99 and the lp for $38.99, and I wasn't about to spring for the difference without hearing the songs first. Won't be upgrading, though if it the music floats your boat, you'll probably find the differential worth it, judging from other recent Floyd-related releases and reissues.

Why didn't you just listen to it for free on Spotify and save yourself the $11.99? And before anyone yells, Waters chooses to be on Spotify.
I have the cd on pre-order. It is due to arrive between June 6 and June 8. I can't wait to hear it.
"Big man, pig man, ha ha charade you are.
You well heeled big wheel, ha ha charade you are."
R. Waters
No, but I saw him perform Sunday night. Excellent show, great setlist, Waters' voice was strong, and several new songs were way better than expected, especially given the competition: songs from "Animals,""DSOTM," "Wish You Were Here."
I have it on pre-order. June 6 delivery date I think. From Acoustic Sounds online.
