I'm glad to hear the problems with this TD125 mkII are resolved. If the total investment is ~ $800, you are still ok for one of these top of the line models.
I'm under the impression that the Thorens zinc inner platters are soft enough to suffer a bending injury when subjected to enough load force coming from a bad angle. I have a TD160 mkII with a warped zinc inner platter. I had no problem finding a replacement for it, but then that inner platter doesn't come with the strobe ring mounted as does the TD125 inner platter.
Excellent news on that motor. Generally the Thorens AC motors tend to require a few drops of oil at the upper and lower bushings after all these years of neglect. Otherwise they are not built to receive maintenance as is the motor for the Td124.

Actually, while I had it apart I installed one of your spring replacement kits. It was an easy install. A little down the road I'm going to get the motor anti wobble kit...
You might be mistaking me for someone else. I don't supply a spring replacement kit or a motor anti-wobble kit. I think Dave at Vinylnirvana does, though.
anyway, it is good to hear of another TD125 getting back into service.
