Reading this post refers to a kit application and easy installation.
Yet in Fremer's comments in the supplied link he states, "The modification is relatively easy: a hole is drilled and tapped into the outer area of the cup housing." Now how many of us are set up to accurately drill a small hole in metal and tap it? Seems like the arm would need to be returned to the factory for this. What am I missing?

Follow Ups:
What you missed (not hard to miss) is that VPI came up with a solution that does not require drilling, tapping or anything that can't be easily done by the end user. And undone too if you decide you don't like it. Very simple, cleaver design.
I think Mat then spent some time coming up with an easier way to implement it so that anyone could do it, and made it more universal.
