Good Monday Afternoon Grinnell,
What a great idea. I had not given that a thought. I will head out to Home Depot shortly and pick up 4 bolts. This will do until I can research and find what I want. Great idea. Thank you so much sir.

Hi Bob,
Buy two sets. Cut off the heads of one set and grind the ends to a point. Also get some nuts to lock the bolts onto the base to prrevent any wobble. Compare the spike vs nonspike end bolts for yourself. Let us know which you like better. Good luck and have fun.
Regards,
David
Hello Sidewinder and another great idea. I did go to Home Depot and purchased a pack of 5 (five) 10/32 bolts. However, when I tried to screw them into the bottom of TT case. The bolts were too small. As a matter of fact, I think the pieces the 10/32 bolts screw into had been removed from each of the 4 holes. So, since I don't know what the pieces are that should be screwed into the holes and then will be able to hold the 10/32 screws, I am at a lost now. The only other alternative is to purchase 4 flat top adjustable isolation footers. Does anyone know what the pieces are called that can be screwed into each of the 4 holes that would actually hold the 10/32 bolts? Where can I purchase them from? Thanks all.

You need a t-nut to put into the holes on the base. Then you can screw the bolts into them. Here they are!
What would I do without each of you. BCR, we know not because we ask not :). I learned long ago there is no such thing as a "stupid question" unless it's the one not asked. Thanks so much. I'm headed back to Home Depot tomorrow to pick up one of these "T-Nuts". Now, I also saw what is called a "Socket Cap Screw which looks as if it has threads. Once the 4 "T-Nuts" are installed on the TT base, what holds them in place? Glue? Finally, how will I know which size to get for the 10/20 bolts? Is this the standard size for my TT? Just asking. Thank you again.bob

the Socket Cap Screw looks like what i used i found one in black
the dayton cones look good and a decent price
Good Wed Morning BCR and thank you for your guidance. I purchased what you suggested (T-Nuts/10/32 bolts) and am on a roll.I have already hammered in the T-Nuts on the base and ordered rounded black footers from Ebay. I just have to wait til they arrive. So far very good.
I ordered some screws to mount my Denon DL-103R to my Yamamoto head shell and found them to be too short. The thickness of the Yamamoto wood head shell and Denon seem to require longer screws. I will try "Needle Doctor" and return to Ebay to see what I can find. Thanks all.bob

Hi Bob,
You should get 10/32 bolts and matching 10/32 t-nuts. The previous owner must have removed them. You don't glue them ,you tap them into the holes with a hammer. You might have to turn the table upside down to do this . Try screwing the bolt into the t-nut at the store before you buy them. Here is the t-nut that should fit.
Hello again BCR,
I clearly understand your instructions and will follow them. I'm off to Home Depot tomorrow early to pick up what I need. I will also make sure the bolt fits the T-Bolt before I leave the store. Thanks again sir.
