Look closer. You can see the band (Airplane) in the cloud at the top.

...agreed until I enlarged the cover. What you see are the five large capitol letters for B A S I E at the top of the mushroom cloud. The J.Airplane cover has the band, with double images, clearly within the center of the cloud. I'd like to believe Steve listened to the 'Airplane but doubt it. All the other LPs appear to be jazz as well. Check it again.
Thanks!

Most sexy and gorgeous post-war sports car ever, amongst a very few other contenders (IMO):
1959 Ferrari Testarossa
BMW 507
Lancia Aurelia America Spider
1962 Ferrari 250GT Berlinetta
When the XKSS was written up in Road and Track in 1957, my 14-year-old self nearly swooned just looking at the photos. Then Jaguar had that fire that wiped out production.
Steve was the real deal.
of the Anchorage Westward Hilton hotel the year I arrived in Alaska in 1972. Great mugshot though. Doing the donuts was made easy by a layer of ice on the road.
All he needs now is a nice roaring fire!
