For reasons known only to God, I am trying to put together a TT/tonearm combo that I had back in the day. I am taking delivery of a near mint Kenwood KD-55 TT with all the hardware but no tonearm. I will be looking for the same tonearm that I used back then. It was a carbon fiber Pioneer PA-1000 (shown) Where should I be trolling for this arm. Any related thoughts or suggestions are welcome.

Ebay has a few listed for $599 from Japan! That KD-500 is a great table,I owned one many moons ago!

...for the ridiculous sum of $10.00. I really should put it back in service.

for just one more for a long time. No parts houses have them for sure. You are very fortunate.
...over in the morning but thought that just maybe I should take a quick glance. The 500 was under (and behind) some Corningware dishes. No wonder I did not see anything from my door earlier! When he quoted the $10.00 price, I said ok, (note that I did not know anything about this model at that time) I will get it. I rushed it home (just across the street) as I was running late. It was a lot heavier that I expected. When I got home, I tried it out and was satisfied. The mounted cart was a Supex (model un-remembered now) and did not play well into my TX-4500mk2, I did not have a phono pre-amp to boost the output.

years ago, but both of the dust cover hinges were broken. I was able to find the last one available for one of the sides, but I have never been able to find the other side. I have a constant search on eBay , and one showed up last year. When I received it, it was broken as well. Arrrrgh!
