Edits: 03/25/17 03/26/17Follow Ups:
Just been sifting through my Auger LP's and I think I have his complete discography on vinyl, I have several multiples and have had the delightful task of listening to them all and picking the best copies, as I 'thin the herd' further. What a great artist- he just radiates the B3!
One of my favorites also. As a player and lover of Hammomd/Leslie in general, I have been a fan for decades; a great inspiration. Saw him and band at the Whiskey A Go Go in Hollywood in 1973. Fantastic show.
Still playing and releasing music, most recently with his kids. Talented family.
Cheerio
I only have the four albums, all from the Oblivion Express period.
I confess that my goto Lp is "Straight Ahead" followed by "Closer To It!" And...what works for me on these are the rhythm patterns in combination with that Hammond B3. Jazzy. Rhythm & bluesy. Up tempo. It drives. Works best on an idler driven TT, imho.

in my collection - "Streetnoise" with Julie Driscoll. It's been a few years since I listened to that so your post should encourage me to pull it out again.
"The piano ain't got no wrong notes." Thelonious Monk
For me, Street Noise is my favorite of all of Brian Auger's albums and All Blues is my favorite cut on it. In fact the Auger/Driscoll version is so good that it embarrasses Miles Davis' original All Blues as first recorded on Kind of Blue. It is a shame that Driscoll left the group.
if he ever heard this version. At most, he might have appreciated it.

Streetnoise has some good music. Donovan's Season Of The Witch is excellent with Julie Driscoll's great vocals. Dylan's This Wheel's On Fire gets much play on my turntable.
