Am I dreaming or have all references to Denon cartridges disappeared from Comet's site?

Has the long arm of the manufacturer reached in to stop a grey market operation (I presume that it was such an operation, pardon me if I'm wrong on that)?

often they fly off the nebulous shelf faster than they can update the site. I watched them appear and disappear from the comet page several times before I ordered on. Mine was back ordered 103r, took about 5 weeks.

I think they're legit, they just don't mark up the same % most sellers do. When I was in grey market sales, it was always volume, volume, volume.

  I called Denon and asked after not seeing Comet listed on Denon's authorized dealer list.

    This problem come up from time to time on various forums. You must have an account (free to join), and then must log in to go to the Denon listing.

I thought you were looking at the AT 150MLX ?

I'd bet my motorcycle your Ortofon with the FG S Stylus has many years
of perfect health left provided to aligned it properly, those Van Den Hull and Identical FG styli are the longest lived of any stylus, the downside is when they finally give up the ghost they're particularly destructive.

When I bought mine (8-10 months ago) I had to look up Denon in the manufacturer index. It's not listed there now, so perhaps they no longer carry the Denon brand. That's too bad.

If you are interested in a Denon DL-S1, Amazon has them for $599. But low prices on the 103 and 103R are probably going to be hard to find.

I tried logging in to Cometsupply and the Denon line still doesn't show up.

2JUKI on Ebay has the 103R for $289 shipped....

I can't seem to find them either; they were taken off the site index a while back but you could google links to the individual cartridges; but I don't seem to be able to hit them again.

I just bought a DL103R just a month or so ago, received it in a week, so they have had stock recently. Give them a call, I'll bet they still have them (or can get them).
