Did you watch the video. Does that sound like static electricity? Can I use lens cleaner with my felt brush? I just got the brush today thinking it was going to help but it hasen't

I can't tell from the video but if, as you say, the records are mint that is my best guess. Dry cleaning only exacerbates the problem.

All I have is the brush and lens cleaner. Would that work. I've never had this problem before. Well not with mint records at least. I used to use lens clean with a microfiber cloth. But that didn't help so I got that brush thinking it was suppose to help with static(friend told me) and today it didn't help. Is there a special way to do it? I don't want to keep having to buy things hoping that it helps.
Do a search of the archives for "record cleaning". There is tons of useful information. I have no idea what you would clean with the lens cleaner or how you would do it.

Okay. I just heard that lens cleaner is basically the same thing as record cleaning solutions. Its non abrasive ans whatnot.
