Wow, that's an impressive collection! You and I could spend hours talking about sound reproduction!
Personally, I have one cartridge and a spare stylus: Shure V15 Type IV.
What comprises your dedicated quad system? How many quad LPs?
My quad system is:
Yamaha P-20 direct drive w/Audio Technica AT12S
Marantz model 4100 Quadradial 4 Amplifier
(2) Boston Acoustic T930 speakers
(2) JBL L-26 speakers
A nice reclining chair smack dab in the middle
I've got over fifty Quad LPs (CD-4, QS, and SQ) in my collection, a wide range of genres including Rock, Pop, Country Western, EZ Listening, Classical, etc.... I'll generally buy any Quad LP I come across if it's VG+ to NM condition.
I well remember Quad systems from back in the '70s. However, I was a teenager at the time and could not possibly afford the gear. So when I happened upon the Marantz amp through a yard sale contact a few years ago, I jumped on it. It's a cool system although somewhat limited by the small number of Quad LPs available.
