LPs safely over from loft
A concrete floor! No more tip-toeing up to the turntables to keep the cartridge from doing the funky chicken, thanks to the loft's sprung floor.
And no more stairs, Ed!!!

Follow Ups:
Actually a couple of benefits -
For the audiophile, a solid floor in the listening room (although I mainly cured that by installing three 4x4 support posts under my suspension floor).
As we grow older, stairs become a big safety hazard. My condo townhouse actually has five levels so I call it my "treehouse". When I eventually move I will only consider single story homes.

They just didn't love me back.
The story of my life,

We don't shush around here!
Life is analog...digital is just samples thereof
Are you moving to a new residence or just moving your listening room?

Yeah, I had one of those suspended floors when I lived in Chicago. I couldn't get near the turntable without pretending to be a ninja. I mostly listened to my Nakamichi deck for 5 years.
Glad you're getting a solid floor!
