sn# 2729, my first TD124. It is now refurbished and spinning vinyl daily.
A couple shots of sn# 79209. It's a TD150 mkII with some mods. The suspension on this one has been modified into a "non-springie" so I could mount a heavier tonearm.
More notes on that here:

Recently I've ventured over to the dark side a little with this, er...."non-Thorens"
My records sounded good this way too...;-)
But for a while, I listened to this one...
Before that I used to listen to this one...

Follow Ups:
It is such simple and well made tonearm. And just seems to match the Thorens perfectly.
I cleaned the bearings on another Zeta once. When I dismantled it, I discovered that it was almost impossible to reassemble; it took me several attempts spread over three days. Each of the 4 pivots is conical and sits in a ring of 5 large ball bearings. After I got it back together, I just couldn't believe how frictionless the bearings seemed to be!
I still have that tonearm in a box somewhere.

Hi Brian.
How's life stateside?
You were right about the Zeta in combination with a TD124. Given the right cartridge, a very musical combination. More than just musical. That Zeta seems to elevate both the cartridge and TT into another zone that peers deeper into the record groove. And at the same time it does not get in the way of dynamic or slam.
It worked well on the SP10 mkII....soundwise. Size-wise the arm is a bit short to reach across that large silver colored chassis. But it did work and sound very good while doing it.
Using the Zeta / with modded DL-103R on both the TD124 and the SP10 mkII made it possible to do an apples to apples comparison between the two very different motor units. ;-)

Yep. I sold the Teres August 2010. Now somebody else gets to load their records on that 26 lb lead shot loaded platter with screw-down clamp.-Steve
