I think Heathkit made an outboard PS because the WA-P2 preamps used the same arrangement of receiving power by umbilical from a W series amplifier.
The pin out was identical or very similar to the Dyna arrangement.
Follow Ups:
Heathkit never made a outboard p/s for their preamps.

Hi Ross,
I thought Heathkit might of made something too but so far my search comes up empty. Thanks for the idea and I'll keep looking....Mark K.
Offtopic just a bit but if your going to make a power supply for the pam1's you might also consider getting a dsc1 stereo controller to go along with the pam 1's.

Hi Radioactive,
Thanks for confirming what I thought because I looked all thru old Heathkit stuff and I came up empty.
I've had plenty of chances to get a DSC-1 but thought there were to many connections and pots and switches. I don't think it would help sound only detract from it. That must of been cool when playing the just out (ping pong) sound effect from the several records that had that. I'm still a less is more audio guy. I've had these PAM's in the project stage for a few years now. In the past I was trying to pick enough peoples brains on how to omit tone controls and I have several plans. I even went out and bought the electrolytic silver cans, how deep is that!
I have some measured specs from 1957 and even though the concensus says abort these specs are right up there with the PAS.
Thanks for helping out Radioactive, keep in touch...Mark Korda
