would be inclined to use 330uf @ 35VDC.
may also want to replace the multisection cap. I have worked on a number of the HF30s, nice amp, and pretty straight forward, but the PS filter caps are either gone or near the end of their life span.

Thanks, will do. I am in the process of replacing the can with film/foil input cap followed by 2 'lytics to complete that power supply.
Randy
Film caps all the way for the power supply in those unless you are just doing a quick repair.

so I am looking at 1 x40 uf and 1 x 20 uf @ 450, sounds good?
I would go 50uf because you have a pair of 6CA4 rect and downstream I would go for another 50uf. Those caps small enough to fit under the chassis.

Thanks, Michael, probably will do just the input with those CDE 35 uf caps, then follow up with 'lytics for this project, although I will contact the client regarding an all film/foil supply, do you think an all film/foil is significantly better than using a film for the input? thanks, Randy
