You might want to save it to your desktop and post it under every post which doesn't contain an active link. Maybe the visual will get their attention!
Excellent! PLease post it again on all the forums for those who missed it or couldn't be bothered. I seem to have become persona non grata for my attempts, maybe you will have better luck.
But if you right click on the graphic I made, one of the menu options will be "save image as", and you can save it to your computer to do with as you wish. If I remember correctly, I made the graphic for an Inmate who didn't seem to understand how to create a link, and he openly said so.
I wouldn't post it to all forums, because that would violate the Asylum's rule for multiple postings, an infraction I find particularly irksome, but one the moderators don't seem to care too much about.
As for your frustration with this, especially when long-time Asylum members can't be bothered to properly post a link, I'm with you. I find it lazy, and I have to really be interested in what their topic is before I'll bother to copy and past their inactive link into a new browser. Not because it's particularly difficult, but because I figure if they can't be bothered, then neither can I.
My sentiments exactly, so I am through leading horses that won't drink to water. I think it would be alright if someone other than me wants to post it all the forums though. How else could you get such a message out to everyone? Not everyone reads every forum.
I've been on many forums and all are different. Especially for us old farts we're kind of slow on the uptake. I want to thank you for posting this I had no idea how to link videos.
Other sites I've been on it was possible to insert the video directly into the text, not just the link. If there's a way to do that here I would like to know that also.
Inquiring minds want to know.
But that doesn't mean the indifferent are going to read it.
I have two choices. I can let it bother me, or choose to ignore it. I generally try for the latter, 'cause it makes me happier in the long run.
