These are the oldest that I have. Unfortunately, for display only due to open filaments.

They are european, so not from deforest. And they probably pre-date his commercial offerings.
I am guessing that the other two tubes are from the same or another French company of the same time period. I am cheating by using the vacuum tube history book pictured below.
I do love alpha Al's pictures.
I don't know much about these. I wondered what "Metal" meant. Didn't realize that was the manufacturer.
The tube in the center was made by Moorhead.
four pin tubes, as Moorhead was contracted in WWI to supply the British military who had been using the French tube designs.
