Well, I don't like 3" cone woofers. So there.
How do you feel about 3" cone midranges?

They are OK as long as you put a 12" or 15" under them!

I was referring to the Alnico-magnet tweeters used by Rectilinear and many others.
I know the one. I think there was a later, ferrit version. There is a modern ferrite copy that Parts Express sells.

IMO Peerless cone tweeters are very, very good, even compared with Dynaudio domes, Magnepans, EMITs, etc. I have learned not to generalize about gear but instead listen with an open mind.
BTW, if you think you got banned on AK for saying you didn't like (fill in equipment here) then you really don't get it at all.
Knows everything, see?
I remember the Scandinavian cone tweeters with pleasure, Fostex made a very nice 1.5" one with a plastic? cone back in the 1970s. And Dick Sequerra's choice for a cone tweeter was very good too.
Foster's FE103 can't do bass and struggle with mid-bass AYMWExpect, but they make a fine point source upper-mid tweeter. Using them in a Bessel array they are very good, and can then manage some upper bass.
Note that a post in response is preferred.

'Still not saluting.'
Yep. The unit in the Sequerra Metronome was I believe the Peerless tweeter.
TAS raved about them in an old issue I have around here somewhere.
Or do you care?

...so much that I'm not even interested in hearing a pair of Dahlquist DQ 10's
