Recently got a near-mint Sony STR-V45 receiver. It appears that the digital tuner AM section is tuning in the European 9khz increments instead of North American 10khz. Alas, no owners manual to tell me how to change the step. Anyone have this info they can share? I don't want to buy an owner's manual just for this tidbit, and I've done all kinds of web searches and can't come up with the answer. I'm sure it's some kind of simple button combination on the front panel, because there's no switch on the back panel like on a Technics receiver I have.Thanks.
Follow Ups:
If the receiver has a 110/220 volt selector switch, it should also have a tuning step switch somewhere. Have you tried removing the top cover to see if the switch is inside? Is it on the bottom of the reciever? It's probably a small 2-position slide switch. Good luck!

The receiver doesn't have a voltage switch, nor does it have a 9-10khz step switch inside. I've studied the interior of the unit several times, and there is no switch of any kind.I am pretty sure it's a front panel button combination, as I've seen this in reference to another (much newer) Sony receiver in my web searches. That particular combination did not work on my STR-V45, however. It was something like "Select AM band. Turn off receiver. Press and hold the "+" tuning button and turn the power back on."
