I was in the process of refinishing the (6) shelves as the polyuerathane I used had yellowed. I started reading threads about Lack table stands, and decided to go with that. These shelves are made from two 3/4" MDF glued together. All edges are rounded over and have been finished by hand. A double coating of "Dyna Shield" damping spray was applied to the under side of each shelf. They are finished with "Fleck Stone" faux stone finish in "Manhattan Mist" All of the shelves have had most of the three coates of polyurathane sanded off, but some still remains. I will include a can of Fleck Stone to touch up any places that may get over sanded. I hate to trash these after all the work I put into them, but they ARE heavy and would not be cheap to ship.
