I have used a puddy similar to blu tak but much softer to great effect.

Also I have used a product called "soundguard" that like sorbothane damps, but includes a very sticky backing, therefore glue is not needed.

Try putting a small piece on the intergrated circuits chips and op-amps,
Seemed to work for me!
