Anyone have any possible tweaks for the CD63KI CD player + PM66KI Amp??
Lot's of them... check TNT's tweakpages on http://www.tnt-audio.com/clinica/tweaks.html out. They have a few very interesting articles on modifying the CD63/67 SE KI etc.One of the authors of said articles (The one titled "Heavy tweakings on the Marantz CD63/67"), namely Thorsten Loesch (he might be a poster on this list too, I'm not sure) has also done (as I understand it) a lot of tweakings on the PM66KI, there's no article about it but you could try mailing him or contacting him on TNT-audio's mailinglist.

What are the major differences between his modifications and yours?I go way further.... My own modded PM-66 uses two massive Toroidal Transformers with overall more than 3 times the Power of the unit Ken fit's. I replaced all internal wiring and most capacitors....
Is there anything more that can be done to further improve on
the two KI models?Yes, do the full job I propose on the Player (or better, buy a CD-57 and do
the full mods). Then power the Amplifer from six 12V 6AH Lead Acide
Batteries with constant charging.... And rewire it internally. This crappy
ribbon wire in there is sonic poison.Ciao Thorsten
