I took out some Vibrapods to replace the feet on my Marantz CD-63SE. I found that the feet are firmly attached to a metal plate that attaches to an inner metal plate. Taking out the copper screws in the feet does nothing to remove them, they appear to be glued in place.
The Vibrapods give enough clearance between the feet and shelf that I can see light between the two but I'd rather just remove the feet entirely.
Has anyone else overcome this annoyance and how did you do it?

If it's the same deal as the CD-67SE (and I don't see why it wouldn't be) then they are not glued. There is some thin rubber between the feet and the removable bottom plate that gets compressed when the screws are tightened and holds them firm even when you take the screws out.I had a scratch on the front of one of mine so I had to remove it to rotate it 180 degrees. You can't twist them off because they lock in place by two metal 'warts' on the plate thet fit into corresponding holes, so just give them a pull and they should come off nicely enough.
