What is preferred way for biwiring speakers with an integrated amplifier?
I have 2 sets of handmade CAT 5 cables of equal length.
Should I connect one pair to A terminals, another pair to B terminals and run amp in A+B mode or plug both pairs to A terminal?
I prefer A+B. Is there downside to it?

Hi,
it may be not on your system, but on my experience (in amplifier certainly with parallel output connections) to hook the cables on A + B amplifier post give the worst (audible) sonical result in respect to hook up the cables togehter on post A OR on post B.
If you can check that your amplifier has surely parallel connections try by yourself to select the best sonical setup between the 3 possible.
In way of principle A+B seems to be the logical and more affordable choice, but internal circuit and the simple routing of the signal on amplifier PCB may audibly affect the sound.
Good listening.
If the outputs are parallel you're OK, but if series don't do it. Many integrated amps/receivers use series outs to keep the impedance load from going too low. Connect speakers to the A out only and switch the output selector to A+B; if the speakers still get signal the connections are parallel; if not they are series.
