Howdy,Any experience with these purifiers (or other Bybee products). The testimonials on the web site are given by some SERIOUS heavyweights. So it seems as if there is something there. If you have used any of their products, please let me know. I'd also be interested in the price you paid, as there are no prices listed on the web site. Although naturally I'm going to guess $$$!
Thanks,
Walden

Could anyone post some photos on how the Bybee should be applied in the AC line and speakers?
There weren't any photos in the website.
My experience w/the bybees installed directly at the positive terminal of each speaker driver was anything but subtle. I heard far more music, less noise---the music was cleaner, more transparent but w/more body and texture. Soundstage was more like the live performance. I was so taken by this experience, I purchased two dozen more and installed them in the pwr supplies of all components (results: major drop in noise floor), at the AC out of pwr conditioner, digital out of transport (results: increased resolution and musical texture), at all IC points (results: more of the same enhancements to musical reproduction---soundstaging and dynamics).Obviously, I think these things are the cat's meow. These devices will be installed in any and all future audio components that will be part of my system.

I just picked up two pairs of their new RCA "bullet" purifiers a few weeks ago. The effect of adding these was, in a sense, subtle. The resulting improvements though were IMHO quite significant. I noticed an increase in clarity, transparency, focus, and dynamics. With two pairs in place (on each end of the interconnect connecting my preamp to amp) my system now seems much improved when listening to both digital and analog sources.
YMMV
I use them on the positive run of my main speaker cables at the drivers.... My cable runs are very long and adding the Bybees really helped to eliminate the tweeter ring and overall sound of my drivers...
they make a non limiting Ac filter which is hard to beat, and are great on digital noise on the ac lines.

When they first came out I ended up with six pairs. I even had a pair at either end of the ics between the preamp and amps. All went well until I took them all out and thought I had a breakthrough. Recently I tried again with a buy back option. I still thought they hurt more than helped. You can hear them, however.

I'm using two big ones on the positive side of the main drivers of my Hammer Dynamics Super 12's. They removed a veil I didn't know was there. VonSchweikert is using them in a new model, the DB100. They made such a big improvement that I've ordered six more.
Dan Wright of Modwright sells them on Audiogon and his site. Here's a link.Regards,

on AC (i'm using the AC line filter modded by TG Audio), nothing else compares. its like a multi thousand $$ upgrade.just startling. amazing what they do.
and believe me, i really wanted to call them snake oil.
they're not. anyone who says otherwise is deaf or hasn't heard them in their system.
I've used the Bybee filters set up as in-line cable jobbies. I'm not sure which model or type ist was, as it was built into an adapter that was a loaner. I used in on the amp inputs of NAD 214's, Wave 8's and the output of my CDP into an ASL integrated amp. I hated them, because now I have to scrape up the money to get some! I'd have to say that when I first plugged them in I was glad I had not payed for them, because I heard no difference. At the end of the week, with them out, big-time difference. To me, they had a very subtle effect. Much smoother sound, and as a person cursed with Tinnitus, they really helped. I don't know if they "filtered" the sound, but they damn sure sound good to me. Try before you buy, though, and be prepared to notice the difference only by removing them. They creep up on you slowly!
