With CD player, tuners etc it should be fine but your the battery-backup as a source will be redundant without the amp., which should be left off.

I considered a UPS for protection from low voltage from my utility co but I just put in isolation and some noise supression and the hi-fi equipment is fine. It all plays right through the brown-outs.
