I have built several of the 55 watt AKSA amps.
They are straightforward to build. There is a good photo on the AKSA site of the 55 watt layout (in the testimonial section).
Two friends have replaced their Audio Research (Classic 60 and D115), with the 55 watt AKSA.
I think they are great.
