Sorry, and I mean I hate to say that, but I found myself that Naim has the most fatiguing, bright, flat sounding gear on the market worldwide. I can listen to it for 30 seconds maximum and I run for shelter.
In other words I second Thorsten. Please, do not consider it a flamebait.

Bright and Flat sounding all at the same time. I thought these Naim amps were more neutral sounding. Confused If I were this fellow I would try some different cables first, before trashing his electronics.
I meant flat = two dimensional, without any sense of space, depth, air.
Bright = with lifted-up trebles that sizzle.
Compare it to Creek, Musical Fidelity, Sugden, and the like British competitors and you will see.
Or maybe I was unlucky in my auditions, but that is Naims problem, not mine. I auditioned everything at Naim, with their personnel responsibble for setup and matching. It was on 3 occasions that I had to apologize and leave after circa 1 minute, which was obviously offensive to those poor boys.Lukasz
