Maybe the test can help to make
the OPs I want to choose somewhat
fewer.

But better is to look at what task
the OPamp will carry out.
Then compare their design and
specifications, and make the actual
choice based on that.

And as you say look at the several variables
that are most important in the circuit.

I do not say bipolar are best
or JFET are best.
Both can have their benefits
under given circumstances.
