I am try to find a place that sell devices such as the lclock xo and there replacement opamps and such other devices. I've e-mailed them directly but have never recieved a response. Can anyone tell me of such a place in Canada or the US who might suply these items.Guy

Maybe you can try the Just-In-Time oscillator from FOX, it has a phase noise (jitter) of p-p under 100 and rms 13 ps only. Price is $16 in www.mouser.com. Bypassed the power pin with a 470u Blackgate and a 0.1u silver mica, all in all under $20. I just ordered one 24.576 MHz for my P3A DAC.
Hi Jameshin,
I could not found the jitter spec. in the brochure you were giving. I could only find a spec. for clocks above 50 MHz. In general the TCXO's; also from other manufacturers; have better jitter specs but are hard or not to find.
Besides that I need; and many others; a clock of 16.9344 MHz. Could not find that one. In the mean time I use my own clock with the crystal of my CDP. Also not expensive and in the same league as the LC-Audio (schematic available on request. Just send me a email.)

Would please send me the schematic for ur KWAK-CLOCK ? Thanks ever so much :).
Could you send me the schematic of KWAK-CLOCK ?dm@cnit.ustu.ru
I am installing Elso's clock this weekend.
Will post my results Sunday. I have the LCAudio for comparison.
Could you send me the schematic of KWAK-CLOCK ?iamjames@usa.net
I tried the oscillator schemetic in LT1016 spec. sheet, much better than the stock clock of my Arcam alpha 7, but I don't know how to add a J-fet.
The jitter spec. of FOX are on the bottom of the page. Viteonline.com also accept online sale on some of their products, their VPB clocks are very good, 20 ppm, total jitter p-p 50 ps only. Custom frequencies take 4 weeks before delivery.
You just use a precision regulator in your clock, don't you? The LClock works on the same principal, just they use a 5PPM crystal (they advertise 2PPM). I would like to see the schematic for your KWAK CLOCK. Could you send me the schematic?ca_144@omalp1.omeresa.net
Check out my website for my experience with CDP upgrades. I installed the LClock, and what a difference!

Hi M.Anker,
Nice to see your website.
I do not have absolute hearing; finding the frequency precision of the crystal unimportant. My clock usually uses the crystal from the CDP or DVD as long as it has two leads.
I don't use a regulator in my clock as I found it did not make any difference to the sound. But if you want you can build a dedicated supply. My clock is different from the LC-Audio clock . They use a 5GHz transistor and a cmos inverter.(BFR92A (NPN 5 GHz transistor) and NC7SZU04 (Ultra highspeed unbuffered inverter from Fairchild). I had the occasion to borrow the clock pictured on your website -courtesy of Rudolf Broertjes- and to compare it with my creation. Mine is better. I do use the J309 JFET and the AD8561 comparator. It may look the same but it is a different circuit.
The schematic is on the mail.

Elso,Please send the schematic again, I did not receive it. Try this email address:

Thanks!
Got it this time! Thanks!Looks like a great circuit, I'll have to try it some time.

Hi ELSO
Can you e-mail this circuit to me to. It seems to me you have alot of interesting stuff ! :-)

Hi Elso!I wonder how the schematics of Your clock looks like with J309 and AD8561. Can You mail it! Thanks!
The Lclock XO is a worth-while upgrade, worth the money.
DIYcable is the US distributor for lcaudio.
