Does Greenlee or Ideal make a chassis punch for IEC chassis connectors. Greenlee makes nice tools. Thanks,Idler

Greenlee does make nice punches, but a Dremel tool works just fine to cut an IEC hole in a chassis.....The nibbling tool works OK for light aluminum, but you'll wear yourself and the tool out on steel or heavy aluminum chassis....
Yeh, they do, but you better have deep pockets if you want one. Both Allied and Newark carry them. A better, although more labor intensive approach would be a tool that Radio Shack sells called a "nibbler". After drilling a 1/4" hole you "nibble" the metal away until you have the right size opening. That is how I do all of my IEC holes.Mike
Mosser also depp to the tune of $150 plus. Hope you want to cut a lot of holes.
