Agreed, Steve and the customer support team at Arcam is second to none.
BTW, some "tweakers" suggest removing electros in the signal path. In some cases this is indeed possible, however be aware that they're often there to decouple DC. Having said that, many pre-amp feature a decoupling cap on their inputs also, so you can sometimes get away with it. Suggest just to upgrade to a better quality cap.
