Just curious, if you had a thick carbon fiber outlet cover and wanted to slightly enlarge the holes where the cords plug in, what would be a good tool for this?
Follow Ups:
I should note that after causing a bit of anxiety that the carbon fiber outlet covers work with Shunyata outlets and with Shunyata power cords, the outlets have a metal clip on one end that must be removed in order to get the carbon fiber cover to seat properly. This resulted in a bit of head scratching on my part but I got it resolved
Must be referring to this...
Yes, that's it Duster
Would this be to accommodate the larger round plugs on most audio power cords? I see with the newly arrived CF outlet covers I got (yeah, I jumped on the bandwagon too) that the outlet face is not flush with the front of the outlet cover, so a snug fit doesn't seem possible. I have cabinets to move to install my covers on the intended outlets, and now I don't feel like being in a hurry to do so (that and I want to change the outlets themselves at the same time).

The outlet faces of Furutech and Oyaide AC outlets will fit flush with the 5mm thick carbon fiber AC outlet wall plate, marc g.

Mark g ; yes, this would be to accommodate Shunyata power cords, we have a hardware store in my small town that has ( almost ) everything, I went today and purchased 3/4 inch long stainless steel outlet screws and a carbide Dremel accessory, I already have Shunyata outlets.
Please keep in mind that you do NOT want to breath in the carbon fiber dust that you will make by grinding the cover.
Very not good for you.
What you want to use is referred to as a "carbide burr".

bah! a little black lung never *cough* never *cough-cough* hurt any ..
excuse me I need my *cough* inhaler
Dremel
Any particular Dremel accessory?
A silicon carbide grinding stone seems appropriate for the task.
