My Amp is too heavy to take in for treatment....
From the rear of pot, should be openings where the
solder tabs are. Last resort, tip on its back and let it
run down the shaft/bushing into the pot.
Quite a few musky fishermen carry a can in the tackle box also. The scent of it sprayed on the lures seems to attract them.
WD40 is a better cleaner than it is a lubricant. Pretty much useless for loosening bolts.

Water Displacement, 40th formula ... it's not really a 'cleaner' per se
it has some desirable properties for electronics

I enjoy a Welsh-made Penny+Giles pot that never needs any attention.
It was first intended as a broadcast-quality video swipe pot for TV programs like variety shows, back in the day.
It's popular for use in recording studios, and some some high-end audio components.

Joe Walsh can afford to have and I'm sure does constant maintenance on his equipment. Probably not by himself.
