Someone thinks these caps give very expensive caps a run for the money. It is described as having very good soundstage depth. Anyone ever try these in the signal path? Thanks, Tweaker

Yes. I have drawers full of capacitors. Many motor start types, Russian oil, copper, silver, aluminum, some with specialty lead out wires. I avoid silver wires for signal, especially hooked up to coupling capacitors.
The sound of motor start capacitors vary. This is because the internal materials are varied based on intended use, when they were made, and even the type of oil inside. Most newer ones made after 1999 are aluminum-polypropelene-oil. Not the best in my opinion, but better than many Audiophile capacitors. Get some motor start types and some Russian oil filled. Compare and you're off to a good start!

I'm going to try the Titans mainly because someone reviewed them as having excellent depth along with beating or giving boutique caps a run for the money. I will be comparing them to Wima MKP10's. I'll report back.
